2007 Make a Difference Day

On October 27^th, National Make A Difference Day, members of the Women’s Service League met in the parking lot of the United Methodist Church at 10:30 am and started a door to door collection of non-perishable food items for the Burlington/Hampshire Food Pantry.  Sons, daughters and friends dressed as witches, super heroes and goblins accompanied the group and over 60 bags of groceries were collected within the next few hours. 

Second annual Coat Drive from November 17^th to December 31^st.  Look for colorful holiday boxes at these local businesses:  Lil Wonders, Cardunal Bank, Studio A, Elle Salon, Dr. Hermann’s, the Hampshire Village Hall and the Hampshire Park District Building.  We will be accepted slightly used or new coats, hats and scarves.  If you have questions, please contact Gerilyn Schlicting at 847 683 9434 or hrhoffmann@sbcglobal.net

Adopt a Family Program:  All proceeds from our club sales at Santa Comes to Hampshire were used to directly benefit a local family of four for the Christmas Holiday.

Celebrity Bartending Bash:  Annual fundraiser to directly benefit our Hampshire Local scholarship program.
